THIS WAS CALLED "THE GIFT" and had two stories in it - home for Christmas AND All I want for Christmas - YES - THE SAME TWO STORIES THAT ARE IN WHAT IS SO CALLED ' Holiday Wishes'. I absolutely LOVE ALL of Nora Roberts books but have been taken advantage of, ripped off, whatever you'd like to call it, so many time by HER RENAMING HER BOOKS!! THIS IS WRONG!!! YOU CAN NOT RELEASE A BOOK CALLED 'The Gift' That has 2 stories in it that are 'All I want for Christmas' and Home For Christmas' AND THEN LATER RELEASE THE SAME TWO F'in STORIES UNDER A NEW BOOK NAME. WTF!!!!!! THE ONLY REASON I KNEW BEFORE BUYING THIS ONE (but losing money on many duplicate Nora Roberts books named something different all of a freakin second is because I've kept a book list of books read that I started 5 years ago that has these two stories on it along with 185 other different Nora Roberts books and 1664 total books read (in the past 5 years). She is the ONLY Author that does this that I have read - changes a name to sell the stories again - with so many books written in a year she should be ashamed of herself for doing this!!

These are rereads for me and they’re even better this time around when I’m already a mom and I’m reading them during the season.
I like the way it progressed and had a happy ending. It was easy to read and very descriptive in the narration. It was a family oriented read although not for younger, more impressionable children.
I like Nora Roberts. I've read almost everything she's written and will continue to follow her always. She has an unmistakable comfort in the way she tells a story. It's like coming home when you start a new book by her.
In the 1st story It's been ten years...and when Jason returns home for Christmas, he encounters way more than he expected. In the 2nd story It begins in a tree house. And with two little boys who ask Santa for something very special. Sometimes wishes do come true. Nora Roberts never disappoints. Her stories and characters are the best.
I was looking forward to a good Nora Roberts story, I had bought this, then realized I had read both stories years before when I didn't,t have a kindle to look in my library. Anyway read them again, enjoyed even more. Very emotional and heart warming Christmas reading.
This Holiday duo brings a smile to your face and some hope to your heart. Realizing that being home for the Holidays is a feeling that never leaves us and may be where our heart is anyway is the first story. The second is about a woman losing it all. So her decision to make a change helps her to come to the home her heart has always wanted and, perhaps, Santa has granted.
Two good books in one. This was a treat.

Home for Christmas

Jason and a faith were high school sweethearts..Jason left to start building his life while Faith stayed behind. Between young love and misunderstandings, they lost 10 years until Jason came back to town. When he arrives, he finds that he left more than Faith behind.

This was a good story. Some loves never die or fade..they just sit and simmer until a flame reignites it. This is so short story, but you were desperate for some more information and more to the HEA.

All I Want For Christmas

Mac has been burned by his ex-wife and decided that he didn’t need a wife or mother for his kids. He’s got a system and doesn’t want to mess up his life. Nell is a breath of fresh air and his boys have decided that she should be THE mom that they asked Santa for..

This was a such a cute story. The attraction that Nell and Jason had was undeniable, but watching Jason’s heart slowly melt was beautiful to see.

Again, very cute, short story, but you really wanted to see how Christmas turned out with these two.

I thoroughly enjoyed both stories and it was just enough to get me ready for the holiday season.
